Posted on: May 12, 2016, by Jill Murwin
The days are growing longer and the sun is getting stronger. Yes, it’s that time of year when people across the world are planning their summer vacation. While some people plan to lounge at the pool, other want to do something – learn something – be something.
Thinking about venturing off on the trip of your dreams is fun to think about. Planning and organizing it is a completely different animal. There are few key elements to think about when planning that stunning, sizzling summer trip. We’ve included 3 STEPS TO LAUNCH YOUR TRIP to make your planning quick and easy.
Here are a few quick & easy steps to get you on the road or on the plane:
1.WHERE DO WE WANT TO GO & WHAT MONTH? Want to go the beach in August but want to avoid crowds? Choose a quiet, seaside village such as Calella de Palafrugell or Tamariu, Spain. Avoid the French Rivera unless you want to snuggle with an unknown man in a speedo.
2. CHOOSE A VIBE (aka THEME): Over many years of travel, I’ve found it tremendously easier to put together a trip WITH a theme. For instance, is it a girl’s trip to Paris or an adventure week with family or romantic getaway to Provence? Decide on a simple theme: water – shopping – wine – biking – adventure – mountains
3. WHAT’S YOUR TRIBE’S VIBE? Are you traveling with a lover, friends or kids? Who you travel with can greatly affect the direction and location of your trip. Ask everyone to write down three things they’d love to do!
