Are you a Moroccan history sleuth?

The Berbers are indeed the first indigenous people of Morocco similar to the American Indians of North America. Yes, they make the famed Berber rugs!
They have a rich and diverse history that predates the Arab and Islamic influences in the region. In Morocco, the Berber identity is particularly strong in the Atlas Mountains and other rural areas. The Berber languages, such as Tamazight, are still spoken by many in addition to Arabic. Their traditional way of life includes nomadic or semi-nomadic practices, and they have historically been skilled in various crafts, including the creation of the famous Berber rugs.
