Sagrada Familia, Barcelona
You haven’t lived. YOU HAVE NOT LIVED, until you have seen La Sagrada Famillia. It’s well worth a detour, scratch that, It’s well worth it’s own trip. Give your self a week, maybe two and explore the cobblestone streets of Barcelona and wander your way into this cathedral. It’s exterior alone will make your jaw drop, but as soon as you walk into the stain-glass and light flooded room, your breath and words will be stolen from you. It’s famed architect, Gaudi, a dedicated worshipper and man of nature infused both beliefs into his work and I promise, as you take your first steps into this temple, you will feel as though you are walking between the trees and sunlight of the most beautiful forest.
