California Bikes & Vines
California is a land all of its own. It’s recently experienced highs and lows that few places on earth have endured. Due to that and wanting to help the people rebuild their lives we’ve added California to our list of places to go.
We recently revisited California connecting with wine growers, restauranteurs and fellow cyclists. We fell in love with Napa and Sonoma all over again. Riding to vineyards, zip lining through redwood forests and ending each day with great food & wine. Our goal is to share some of our personal and favorite experiences with you.
Choosing the right accommodations in California is everything. Small hotels and inns have created an atmosphere all their own. Some of our favorite examples are the Farmhouse Inn (complete with a Michelin 1*) and the artful Bardessono located walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the USA.
As with most of our trips, activity is a key element of any great vacation. Although fires have ravaged much of California, the southern area of Napa and Sonoma have great cycling. And cycling is just about as popular as wine tasting so you can imagine how much fun you’ll have. Our other favorite part of this trip is the stunning days on Hwy 1 along the Big Sur coastline.
We’ve missed you and would love to organize a trip for you in California. You can rent your own car or we’ll provide a chauffeur driven experience from A to Z.
