Morocco Women’s Trip
Did you know?
Strong green tea made with mint and sugar in Morocco is called Berber Whiskey. As a rule, it is drunk from oriental teapots and piles.
Morocco has always had a mystical feel to it. It’s a blend of smells and sounds, changing light as the sun rises above the Atlas mountains and the sunsets across the Sahara desert. Riad’s were once owned by wealthy sultans and have since been taken over by Europeans with a drive to maintain that sensuality.
This trip is for those with a zest for adventure.
We’ll be riding camels, sand surfing in the desert, hunting for fossils, cooking with Bedouin people and learning the art of rug making with Berbers. We’ll take a hammam (similar to a Turkish bath) and find out why Moroccan’s feel it’s a sacred and necessary part of daily life.
Our trip begins with a stay at a riad (traditional house with an open center courtyard) in the old medina of Fes. Our guide will take you to the ancient tannery, past local shops and show you one of the most beautiful mosques in Morocco. After that, be ready to immerse yourself with local Bedouin families, cooking classes and desert living. We’ll spend an unforgettable night under the stars in the Sahara Desert. Our final two days of the trip will be spent in the dynamic city of Marrakech, enjoying colorful souks, markets, snake charmers and live music.
Do you do private/custom trips to Morocco? YES. If you’re friends, yearning for a taste of Morocco, we can arrange a private trip with simple stays in family-owned riads or five-star accommodations in Fes and Relais et Chateaux hotels. Either way, Morocco will surprise you on many levels.
Hiking, Canyoning, Yoga, Glamping, Shopping.
